Healing our relationship with death
CCLD has cancelled all events, meetings and workshops until November 1st.
Thank you so much for your well wishes, your prayers and your donations. We have power and water in one building from the well, and are doing roll calls with our members. Many have experienced catastrophic losses - homes, belongings, jobs, while others have had damage to homes, property, flooding in basements or lower floors. We are doing well checks with anyone we haven't heard from as many of our members are elders. We are helping in the recovery efforts in all the ways we can.
How you can help is to donate to CCLD so we can address the needs of WNC community and our tireless volunteers who have lost everything and can hold them as they have held our residents and the Center for the last two years.
-
All donations are tax deductible.
-
You can put Flood in the notes to let us know of your generosity.
-
Thank you and know that we will hold all who are grieving in love.

We’ve created this campaign page for those who wish to support our emergency relief efforts throughout our western North Carolina community. The funds raised will be directed to the areas of highest need, and we will keep careful records of how the funds are used, providing updates as we have them.
