About the Event
The Sanskrit meaning of Mandala is a container of essence. Mandala art started as early as 700 BC as a spiritual and ritual symbol that represented the Universe. The meanings of modern mandalas have evolved and become multifaceted works of art. The true meaning of a mandala is a personal experience of the artist and the viewer. Spend a day with other creatives in contemplation as Joanna White leads you through the process of this meditative art form. Cost for members is $20.00 plus $10 for supplies fee, and for the public is $30.00 plus $10 for supplies fee. Each person will receive a kit with pens, tortillion, pencil and Mandala and Zentangle tiles. Just bring you lovely selves and you will leave with a piece of art that you can frame for your wall, paste in your journal, turn into a card or gift to a friend. www.zentangle.com
