About the Event

CCLD MEMBER FORMING INTENTIONAL COMMUNITY  - Please RSVP For more info and details!

CCLD member Sheridan Hill invites interested folks to join the first Vision Circle Jan 11, 2024 to create an eco-friendly, inter-generational, participatory co-housing community where we support each other as loving neighbors through all that life brings, including dying.

Let’s redefine rural life and come together to create a neighborhood that supports friendly cooperation and socialization. People who engage in meaningful, productive activities with others tend to live longer, boost their mood, and have a sense of purpose. Studies show that meaningful activities with others may actually improve cognitive function.

Core values: Eco-friendly living, Organic gardening, Healing arts, Vegetarian-focused, Social Sustainability, Deep authentic acceptance of each individual, Transmit our values through song,Lead with love, Practice Gratitude, Offer and Receive Support, Live Simply, Be Keepers of the Earth, Create and play, Be kind, Care for our own in illness and dying. The village would be a European-style village of up to 12 small, densely clustered homes. A combination of private and community-owned land. We would maintain a 60-40 balance (either direction) between elder homeowner-residents and younger homeowner-residents.
