Have you felt powerless or shy despite being in positions of influence or authority?

Do you experience power struggles in your relationships?

Do you sometimes feel unseen?

___

Power has been socialized as a binary experience, a struggle between two opposing hierarchical energies: predator/ victim, leader/follower, authority/yielding, win/lose. This dynamic seems to be on hyper-display on the global scale and it also deeply impacts how we relate to those we love the most. No one is exempt from it!

What if there is a more effective way to inhabit our inherent and authentic power and wield it for the highest benefit of all our relations?

In this workshop you will:

  • Deepen your understanding of subtle (and not so subtle) power dynamics and how they impact the way to relate to each other

  • Understand how rank awareness can be used to de-escalate conflict and polarity

  • Broaden your language and sensitivity to identify power and rank dynamics in relationships and groups

  • Feel more embodied and intentional in how you leverage your leadership, power and rank

Overall you will experience a significant shift in how you see yourself, others and the field of relationship between you. You will change the way you think about power and how you use yours for positive change!!

Carla’s facilitation and teaching approach is:

  • Awareness-based – transforming consciousness by enabling a system to see and sense itself

  • Process-oriented – following what is unfolding naturally, rather than focusing on an outcome or solution

  • Trauma-informed – recognizing the pervasive impact of trauma, centering psychological safety and preventing further harm

  • Re-centralizing – bringing focus back to the parts or experiences that have been marginalized

  • Sensory-grounded – connected and present with the bod and using somatic and embodiment practices
