About the Event
Kim Rosen M.F.A., is a poet, spoken word artist, and ritualist. She has awakened listeners around the world to the medicine of poetry to heal and transform individuals and communities. The author of Saved by a Poem: The Transformative Power of Words, Kim has collaborated with gifted musicians on several albums, most recently, Feast of Losses with cellist Jami Sieber. Combining her devotion to poetry with her passion for self inquiry she creates workshops and retreats focused on turning towards aging, death and letting go. In 2007, she spoke a poem to a group of Maasai girls in a safe house in Kenya and the spark of that moment ignited the S.H.E. College Fund to help girls who have fled FGM/C and early childhood marriage get access to college education. Learn more here.
