These are the tree rings of my soul

The solemn earthbody bounce

The down tempo weeping willow

Invocation from an innocent wind:

There's nothin’ to say ‘bout grief

That ain’t better put on the floor

Beyond the bruise of a beat.

Your spirit's seaweed

waving like prayer flags

Though collapse be forthcoming

Lament with me.

Let's throw down for our wailing Earth,

And dance

the dance of a future climate refugee.
