For the first time since our Grand Opening (May 2024), the Center for Conscious Living & Dying warmly invites you to gather again in the Chapel and Fellowship spaces to honor and integrate the transformational experience of Hurricane Helene, now at its one-year mark.

About the Event
When: Friday, September 26, 2025 · 2:00–5:15 PM (Community Dinner 5:30–6:30PM Where: Warren Wilson Chapel & Fellowship Hall (downstairs + basement)
Who: CCLD members, families, and children — all ages welcome
Overview For the first time since our Grand Opening (May 2024), our CCLD community gathers again in the Chapel and Fellowship spaces to honor and integrate the transformational experience of Hurricane Helene, now at its one-year mark. Come for contemplative music and reflection in the Chapel, sit by the fire, or join expressive arts and play spaces tailored for different ages. All child/family spaces are open to all; in the Chapel, please help little ones keep voices soft.
Flow of the Afternoon 2:00–3:45 PM · Community Time with Stations including fire, song share, watercolors, spirited improv, and more.
4:00–5:15 PM · Ceremony Honoring Helene with music and storytelling
Community Dinner · 5:30–6:30 PM All who attend either day or evening events or both ceremonies are invited to dine together in the Fellowship Hall before the evening public gathering.
Cost & Contributions All events of the day are free. If you’d like to help cover the meal and Chapel rental, donations are welcome and appreciated.
What to Bring
A water bottle and layers for changing temps
A journal or sketchbook (optional)
Quiet toys or coloring for little ones in the Chapel
Accessibility & Parking
Accessible entry and seating available. Please allow extra time for parking on campus and follow signage to the Chapel and Fellowship Hall.
