For 24 years, Eric Rooney has been passionately caring for nature and humans through the concept of regeneration as a farmer, community-builder, story-teller, death doula, and pioneer in the field of death and dying. Based in Colorado, he works with green funeral homes to return human compost and water cremation fertilizer to Earth at his farm, Half Moon Farm. He is the founder of the non-profit, Regeneration Earth that promotes education and advocacy for peoples' choice in death, offers holistic services at a healing home called Sage House where the terminally ill can die with support and dignity, and helps organize end-of-life planning through a proprietary digital platform.
