Open to everyone. For leaders, at CCLD and beyond, you’re invited to contemplate how you might integrate labyrinth walks into your work with residents, families, and teams as a tool for grounding, tending grief, and practicing presence.
Join us for a nourishing meal and experiential introduction to the labyrinth ~ the history, different types, and how they are used today. Jaan Ferree will share her expertise and wealth of personal experience, combining the ancient and the modern uses of the labyrinth, guiding others, and holding space for people who are walking labyrinth. Following the talk, we’ll have time for Q&A, walking the Labyrinth at the Center for Conscious Living & Dying (built by volunteers!), and reflecting together with art, journaling, and guided discussion to support integration of what you felt, heard, imagined, and experienced on your labyrinth walk. Jenna will weave song throughout the workshop and May will facilitate our conversation after the walk. All are welcome.
