This free community ceremony welcomes all of Western North Carolina.

6:30-9:00 PM: Ceremony in the Chapel
Helene Remembrance Ceremony
An evening of weaving ritual and reflection, story and song. We gather together within the candlelit beauty of Warren Wilson Chapel to honor and integrate the transformational year. Our collective and personal experience of grief and loss, communal care and resilience is tended with reverence for all life. All are welcome, there will be a fire outside as well as a space for children to reflect and express through art.

Cost & Contributions All events of the day are free. If you’d like to contribute to the meal and Chapel rental, Donations are Welcome.

A candle-safe lantern or small LED (optional)
A small river stone, leaf, or symbol of what Helene shifted in you (optional)
Water bottle; layers for comfort
Accessibility & Parking
Accessible entry and seating available. Please allow extra time for campus parking and follow signage to the Chapel and Fellowship Hall.
