What is it?

During this group session psychologist and Transpersonal Hypnotherapist, Kat Houghton, will lead you though the process of discovering a past life, experiencing your own death and the afterlife. You will return with deep insights into who you are and why you are incarnated now.

This is not a place to work on your trauma or old wounds, these are best worked on in individual therapeutic sessions. In this group session the focus will be on finding the past life roots of a quality you wish to enhance in your current life, or on discovering more about your soul's purpose in this incarnation.

How does it work?

Hypnosis only works if you want it to. You must be willing to relax back, follow the guided imagery, and let yourself slip into a light trance state.  That's all you need to do! Kat's voice and words will guide you to finding your past life.

Essentially, the guided imagery will encourage your linear, thinking, mind to slow down and step back. That critical part of you won't go away, you will still be monitoring what is happening, but it will be relaxed enough that your subconscious mind can be more available.

It is your subconscious mind that will respond to the prompts in the guidance by showing you images, sounds, sensations or knowings.

Whether you interpret these as simply products of your creative, metaphor-loving subconscious or as scenes from the Collective Unconscious or as memories from a past life stored in your soul doesn't really matter. The impact is the same - you learn a lot about yourself!
