About the Event

This groundbreaking workshop is inspired by the globally acclaimed album, Graceful Passages, created by Gary Malkin (and Michael and Doris Stillwater), which has assisted over a million people in preparing peacefully for the transition out of life, as well as easing the grief process in the aftermath of loss. Together with spiritual intuitive, Hope Fitzgerald, the workshop alchemizes the power of music and meditation to navigate out of the quicksand of regret into the open fields of presence, renewed vitality, and a gratitude for life.

Teaching a wide variety of techniques through multiple intelligences, including science, sound, meditation, poetry, journaling and vulnerable sharing, Gary and Hope empower individuals to thrive as they navigate life's inevitable challenges with increased resilience and grace. Woven throughout the workshop is education about how music (in the right hands) is uniquely capable of safely coaxing people to create space for healing on the deepest levels. Most importantly, Graceful Passagesgently provides a profound shift in perspective for people to see their lives as happening FOR them, not TO them.

In recognizing how loss can quietly dampen and impede the life force, this workshop offers direct experiences through our unique 4-step “Chrysalis Process” with Hope’s guided meditations underscored by Gary’s music to help us get back on track and into a more enlivened, fulfilled version of ourselves.

The first step addresses our culture’s propensity to carry the burden of Unacknowledged Grief, which keeps us locked in a continual cycle of suffering. The practices are geared towards allowing grief to move out of this cycle and into a spiral of release where there is more freedom and choice.

Once freed from grief, the next step is Self-Acceptance and Forgiveness, and from there, the third is into the deeper territory of confronting our temporal existence and moving unafraid into the Awe of the Mystery.

Lastly, we emerge Grateful for our existence and ready for the uplifting, joyful musical finale that celebrates the preciousness of life.

What sets us apart? Gary brings his award-winning immersive music and media content along with his empathic temperament as an experienced performer, speaker, and facilitator. Hope contributes her mastery and clarity as a transmissive spiritual intuitive and guide, as well as her expertise in leading groups around the world.

WE’LL HELP YOU TO EMBRACE “YOUR ONE, WILD, AND PRECIOUS LIFE.”
