Evolving Stories: Altered Book Series

Are you ready to transform your personal story? Have you been thinking of a change or a new way of envisioning yourself? Join experiential artist Christine Abassary in this journey of re-telling your story, using old books, collage-making materials and mixed media.

We will transpose and recreate our stories by altering old books. Throughout the series, we will explore transforming pages through collage, acrylic paint/ inks and mixed media to create and expand how we conceptualize the beautiful stories of our lives. You can symbolize your creative expression through your choice of color, symbols, poetry/ words, and collage. Christine will share and guide you in the creative process. Each week she will introduce new elements and you are free to join us for any or all of the journey. Materials and books are included.
