In almost all parts of the world the drum has been an instrument that humanity has connected with more than any other. What do we do when we are children? We grab the nearest object and beat it against something else. The drum is the horse that carries the heartbeat of creation and its the drum that brings communities together in celebration with one another. Many of us resonate with it because we all carry our own drum inside our bodies. The heart is a living, breathing, drum that gives us life. The drums that we beat as instruments amplify that shared heartbeat.
