Contact Beyond Contact Integrates tools from Contact Improv, Authentic Movement and Passing Through. Utilizing resources from qigong, yoga, energy work, authentic relating and psychology. We will access some great beginner tools to help you feel comfortable approaching partner dancing. Each week we will build and deepen into this practice as well as the group.
You will be led through a series of partner exercises, and after each exercise we will gather in pairs to discuss our experience. At the end of each session, we will integrate with a live sound healing.
Our session will begin and end with a group sharing circle. Please arrive 5 minutes early to settle in and plan to stay until the end of the session. Please bring water and wear comfortable clothes to move in. Socks are optional depending on your comfort level.
