Don't miss this official celebration for the Grand Opening of The Center for Conscious Living and Dying! We have a delightful line-up for the evening, come early for a tour from 4:00 to 5:00 or arrive at 5:30 for the programming. Please bring your own picnic, chairs and/or blankets and layers.

Parking Shuttle

5:00-9:30 pm All Evening Visitors/Public - Warren Wilson

Please park at Kittredge Auditorium parking lot -701 Warren Wilson Road, (photo on right)The Center for Conscious Living and Dying is a new non-profit in WNC with a mission of creating a community that embodies living a meaningful life through inner exploration and growth, service, and community-supported end-of-life care. This community has been building and is almost 300 members strong. Our volunteers participate on 20+ teams that create beautiful grounds, contemplative spaces, Airbnb rooms to rent, and our Sanctuary Transition Suites where we host three guests a time who are in their last of days. 

While you are here you can see our newly hung art exhibit, walk the grounds, listen to music, take a tour, and meet our community of dedicated folks who make this beautiful place hum.

Evening Program Events:

4:00 to 5:00 Tour of the property begins on the porch of the house

5:30 pm Invocation by Elder Council - Prema Sheerin

5:40 pm Welcome and Opening Remarks - Dr. Aditi Sethi

5:50 pm Choir Sings Us into Celebration

6:00 pm Artist-in-Residence Joel Karabo Elliot emcee's and evening of Music, Poetry, Storytelling, Improv, Drumming

6:30-7:30 Tour of the property begins in the parking lot

8:30 pm Clean up volunteers take shuttle to retrieve your car

9:30 pm Last shuttle run off campus

CCLD will provide two drink stations with tea, lemonade and water, cups and ice. You are invited to bring your own picnic for you and your family, chairs or blankets to sit on, layers for as the temps cool and instruments if you feel called to join the musical celebrations.

Tickets are by donation, please feel free to pay what works for you at this time. Donations are optional!
