Compassionate Care

For nearly four decades Compassionate Care has offered comfort, compassion and excellent care to patients and their families at one of the most difficult and vulnerable times in their lives.

Formerly, Yancey County Hospice and Palliative Care but in 2019, a new name was chosen to better reflect the progressive, geographic organization they serve - Compassionate Care Western North Carolina.

They remain the same local, nonprofit group of professionals and neighbors, dedicated to clients and families in Western North Carolina who are striving for the best quality of life for as long as possible.

Their motto is our promise, “Wonderful care, when you need it most”.
