About the Event
How do we meet the unique end-of-life care needs of an aging polyamorous and LGBTQIA2S+ population?
Join me on October 11th from 6:00-7:30 pm EST. I will be having a zoom conversation with attorney Christ Bratton to learn more about what we can do to ensure that everyone gets the care at the end of life that they want and deserve.
If you are polyamorous, part of the LGBTQIA2S+ community or you are a death doula or you work with the elderly, you can be an advocate for older LGBTQIA2S+ at the end of life.
Polyamorous and LGBTQIA2S+ seniors with end-of-life and other serious care needs are at risk of isolation and marginalization at the precise time when they most need support.
People who identify as transgender or gender-nonconforming often have special healthcare needs or face unique forms of discrimination in accessing care.
In a very heteronormative and monogamous culture, there will be things that people need to think about if they are in a non-traditional relationship.
This event will be recorded but the recording will not be shared as is for privacy reasons, I will share a transcript with identifying information removed from it to anyone that registers.
