The We Are Remembering Tour

CommUnity-supported Creative Life Convergences

Washington D.C. / Patawomeck

April 15-19, 2025

Various venues in the DC area: TBD

What is the “The We Are Remembering Tour”, and what do convergences look like?

Imagine each We are Remembering convergence as a heart-centered and seamless blend of a creative and healing arts festival, a professional science-meets-spirituality conference, and a 16th century gypsy camp! This is a living culture experiment in gathering together to enliven our humanity, to share and present the fruits of the regenerative process through music, creative performances, ceremonies, intellectual dialogues, presentations, and celebrations of life.

Each and every We are Remembering convergence welcomes a diverse assembly of seasoned professionals, humble stewards, channelers of music, poetry, and art, elders, children, as well as doctors and scientists who are actively transitioning toward integrative and wholistic paradigms. The established confluence of science and spirituality is a key growth point, as well as the fields of integrative medicine, community-supported end-of-life care, and, of course, the creative arts and the Music of Life.

Here are some of the pillars:

Live, acoustical ensemble music is woven throughout our gatherings, curated spontaneously by a multi-ethnic, contemplative roots ensemble, guiding reflection and assuring space for non-verbal communication.

Rejuvenating and elevating conversations permeate the program, inviting multidisciplinary explorations into the relationship between “conscious living and dying” and the pursuit of happiness, health, and the growth of creative intelligence.

Another pillar of these gatherings — and a launching pad for integrative dialogue — is the screening of the unique documentary film, The Last Ecstatic Days, which intimately depicts a lonely, dying man who dares to call upon a new community to “walk him through” the death portal.

If you are a soul-driven person — whether a doula, educator, community leader, survivor of activist burnout, mother, father, youth, artist, or civil servant on brink — We invite you to join commUnity at a local event to celebrate and amplify this great turning point in our human story.

Who is guiding this?

We Are Remembering gatherings are guided by a traveling team of esteemed artists, educators and doulas who represent the following living organizations and/or storytelling channels:
