The extreme decline of the natural world shows us a global change of consciousness is needed. To truly change the way we relate to the environment around us, we must address the ecology of our own hearts. Great saints recommend that in these troubled times, we purify ourselves internally by diving into the river of sacred sound. Transformation takes place from the inside out. Let's begin now. In this spirit all are welcome to an informal gathering around the fire to speak our hearts. We are in the midst of a climate emergency precipitating a mass extinction of the plant and animal beings with whom we share this world and upon whom our lives depend. How to be with this extraordinary imbalance and still live a life with heart and meaning? How to bring this out of the shadows of our consciousness and into the light of acceptance, community wisdom, and effective action?
