About the Event
Join us on Saturday evening April 13 for this very special event: a dinner, conversation and concert with composer and musician Joel Karabo Elliott who is serving as CCLD’s first “Artist-In-Residence."
Joel will share the testimony of how his artistic practice, world travels, and journey by Consciousness has led him into solidarity with CCLD at this moment in time.
He and CCLD staff will also share about their vision for creative and expressive arts at CCLD, and how Artists-in-Residence might contribute to enlivening and preserving the community's mission into perpetuity.
Bring a home-made dish to share for a communal pot-luck dinner at 6:30pm; concert begins around 7:30pm.
This is a free event, and kindly consider making a donation to support the emerging Artist-In-Residence program at CCLD (suggested sliding scale $20-100).
Get to know the musical and ministry work of Joel Karabo Elliott and his world music ensemble Roots Grown Deep via all streaming platforms (Spotify, Apple, YouTube, etc.), and via the website: www.rootsgrowndeep.com
