Holiday grief honoring

We know holidays can be hard when someone important is missing from your life. 

When everyone is busy making merry, our grief tends to be sidelined. Grief needs to be acknowledged, heard and tenderly held. 

This is a space where grief is welcomed. A space, amidst the holiday cheer, where we can acknowledge what’s true in our hearts, giving it some room to breathe and move.

This event is hosted by Kat Houghton and Clare Duplace, co-leads of the CCLD Grief Tending Team, and supported by local a cappella singer Suzannah Park of the Wild Asheville Community Chorus.

We will share stories, poems, songs and whatever needs to flow from our hearts. The event is free, online and live.
