CCLD Member/Volunteer Potluck!

Join us for our first potluck of the year! We are trying some NEW things, so please read details below:

* Bring a dish to share and note to identify ingredients for people with various food restrictions

(ex: Spinach Artichoke Bites – contains gluten+dairy)

* NEW: BYO-plate/bowl, cup, utensils (trying this out to lighten the load in the kitchen!)

* NEW: Quiet space - the Library & Parlor Room will be reserved for quieter conversation, a place of calm for folks who might enjoy a break from all the stimulation and welcome connection in more of a quiet setting

* Music in the Lighthouse 12:30-1:30

* Remember to park at the church (at the corner of New Salem Rd and Warren Wilson Road) before you reach Sanctuary Rd and please ride in with a group to ensure there's enough room for everyone to park. You might make a new friend before the potluck even begins!

* Sign up & share the load: Did you know we don't have a designated team to assist with potlucks? If you're someone who enjoys having a job at a large gathering, we've got you covered and welcome support. Perhaps you'd like to help with parking -OR- Invite a buddy to "tidy together" and sign up for a 1/2 hour turn, since washing dishes is more fun with a friend and some of the best conversations happen in the kitchen! As y'all know, little things make a big difference and working side by side, even for a short while, is a great way to get to know somebody.

The CCLD Potluck is a time for all members and volunteers to come together to share a meal, celebrate each other, and to catch up on the latest CCLD happenings. We hope you'll join us as we re-engage and prepare to re-open our doors!
