Become an informed consumer advocate for your healthcare.
Our healthcare system has become siloed and difficult to navigate. This 7-hour class with Karen Sanders, MSN, R.N., AHN-BC, HWNC-BC, Â will help you learn how to advocate for yourself or a family member with less stress and more peace of mind.
Topics to expect:  Overview of the US Healthcare System  Advocating for yourself and your loved ones in the hospital, assisted living, and physician offices
Home care vs. home health
Transitions: The art of dying
Palliative care vs. hospice careÂ
9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Lunch will be provided.
What to bring: wear comfortable clothing, water bottle, note paper or pad of paper, pens
